My inspiration for this design came from growing up in small town Wisconsin. I was born and partially raised in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, a spread out farm town of barely 2000 people and graduating classes peaking at 80 students. My childhood home was surrounded by forests, with a dilapidated barn in the backyard and a valley out the eastern window. I would sit against the old wood of the barn and breathe in the crisp smell of fall and winter as the colors changed and faded away to snow. My inspiration came from the days of writing in the woods and going to the town diner on Saturdays for a hot breakfast and a piece of cherry pie. It came from the nostalgia that the area held for young and old and the beauty of a wildlife presence. While the diner is the focus of the world, the forests are the life of small town Wisconsin.
