For this paper project, I leaned into the wedding at the start of Eurydice. I wanted something that was clearly familiar but that could be made wrong. In the start, it’s a lovely garden made up for the bride and groom. Once Eurydice dies, the gazebo crumbles, the chairs shatter, and the trellis and fabric rip and fall. A world meant to celebrate and be beautiful made broken.
