This production had two parts to the paint treatment: white glossy paint and an invisible grid of UV reactive phosphorescent paint. As soon as the walls were up, the seams were hidden with joint compound and sanded down. Then about 4 coats of white Kilz was rolled on, followed by a semi-gloss sealer. The floor was similar. The gridlines were marked with chalk line per the perspective points from the scenic designers and taped out. A light coat of the white was applied for crispy lines, then three coats of ArtnGlow sky blue invisible paint. A couple layers of semi-gloss polycrylic sealer were then applied over top to keep everything clean through the run.
