This pie was made for a class project to explore fake food techniques. Paper clay was put down as the base as if I were placing an actual pie crust. I painted this a toasty brown once dry. Clear gel wax was heated, dyed, and poured into the crust for the filling. The top crust is also a layer of paper clay that was then toasted to match a pie’s way of cooking.
