These meringue pies were for Attic Chamber Theatre's production of Bus Stop.

They were made by initially placing a foam base into the tin to have a bit of structure and lessen the weight. I then piled some lite joint compound into the tin, using a scraper to press and pull on the compound to create some peaks. After it was thoroughly dry, I simply based in white acrylic paint and added a slight brown wash to the peaks.
