These windows were designed to be stained glass windows in a back of a zoom production. The frames were laid out and covered in elastomeric for light texture. A grey base was applied and dirtied with washes, and the lines were filled in with a watery van dyke. The inner design was pounced with charcoal onto muslin inside of the frames, and the initial lining was done with a sharpie. By laying down water first and applying minimal amounts of super saturated paints, we were able to achieve transparent fabric. A water and joint compound mix was then applied with a piping bag to create the final leading.
