For this show, we applied muslin and textilene to platforms for varied transparency. Elastomeric was applied and scraped away so that texture held but light could still shine through. Various mapped out colors were then painted on to mimic a topographic map, followed by mixed textures such as dry-brushing, washing, and sponging.
