I worked as assistant charge on this production of Macbeth. The charge and I created a mixture of elastomeric and joint compound for the physical texture on the wall, applying it with sliced rubber pieces to get the lining. After that, a base of grey was painted on followed by a couple dark washes and some light highlighting. The floor was painted using two greys scumbled together and sealed with a matte floor sealer.
